This album was conceptualised around my fascination with the evolutionary theory of the Primordial Soup which was popular in the 20th century.
The title track was made with field recordings that I recorded at one of the lakes near Berlin as I was walking around in the sand and the mire. From there on the album got constructed in a fairly intuitive fashion without too much hesitation.

This was my first release on Amek who made a limited edition tape that is now sold out.
